One of three pistols in RDR 2, the Mauser Pistol was likely first encountered when it was literally thrown in the face of most players during Chapter 4's showdown with the devilish Angelo Bronte.

A impactful and rapid-firing pistol, the downfall of the Mauser Pistol is simply how it seems to be a jack of all trades, but master of none. It doesn't match the rapid fire damage of the Semi-Automatic pistol, nor does it match the raw power and satisfying feel of the Volcanic pistol.

A handgun that is by no means poor, any self-respecting cowboy would still do good in a gunfight wielding this German-inspired pistol. However, what it has in stat consistency, it lacks in style and satisfaction, never standing out enough to be a go-to sidearm.
