Red Dead Redemption 3: 10 Things Rockstar MUST Do

If the Red Dead Redemption series is to stick to a pattern of releasing prequel games, then RDR3 is destined to be set before the events of RDR2. This would mean the story taking place closer to the events of the American Civil War - a historical foundation behind the United States that boasts a pivotal legacy, one that can even be found in Red Dead Redemption 2.

If the next game takes place before the other two, the American Civil War could lead to some interesting gameplay elements.

Bolger Glade, a location on Red Dead Redemption 2’s map, is a site of an American Civil War Battlefield. This battle could be experienced by the player, whether they take part in that story or come across characters who fought in it. NPCs like this already exist in RDR2, with a couple of veterans from both sides of the Civil War available to interact with.

If Rockstar does go further back into US history with RDR3, the American Civil War should definitely make an appearance.
