Red Dead Redemption 3: 10 Things Rockstar MUST Do

2. DLC

Once upon a time, Rockstar was renowned for its fantastic story-based Downloadable Content. Such hits like The Ballad of Gay Tony for GTA IV and Undead Nightmare for Red Dead Redemption still hold up as some of the best post-release content to this day.

Unfortunately in recent years, Rockstar has been focussed on the monetisation of GTA and Red Dead Online, resulting in no more single-player DLC. With this being the case, could RDR3 see its return, and better yet what could it be?

Red Dead Redemption’s Undead Nightmare was a standalone expansion pack, set in an alternate timeline where zombies rose from the dead. It became an instant fan-favourite and was highly anticipated to return for RDR2, but no such thing happened despite a myriad of supernatural easter eggs being in the single player. Could Rockstar finally bring the story of Undead Nightmare back for RDR3? It would be welcomed with open arms if they did.

Another piece of DLC which fans wished to receive, but never did, was that of Sadie Adler’s bounty hunting stories. This would have made for a perfect expansion pack but again, did not see the light of day.

Even if Rockstar created a new original idea for an expansion it would be an appreciated surprise. However the story pans out in RDR3, it would be a shame to see potential stories go to waste by abandoning additional DLC.
