The man behind "Project Alice," Iain Glen's Dr. Alexander Isaacs has a lot to answer for in Anderson's films. Serving as the secondary male protagonist alongside Albert Wesker, Isaacs was arguably the franchise's first big bad, and spelled trouble for the survivors of the zombie apocalypse. Shown to be highly brilliant, but ruthless and conniving, Isaacs was one of Umbrella's most prominent members and easily sticks in your mind, thanks in no small part to Iain Glen's slimy performance.

Also, realizing that only the original Alice could bring him success, the irony is that Isaacs was the tool of his own demise when succumbing to mutation. The doctor's intelligence and charisma make him one of Resident Evil's greatest characters, appearing as a more-than worthy foe for Jovovich's Alice

What else adds Isaacs to any list is his transformation into the tentacled Tyrant monster. Serving like one of the game's boss battles, Alice defeating the Isaacs Tyrant is one of the film’s best takedowns. Returning back to the film's roots with a recreated Spencer Mansion, Isaac’s demise features that laser grid (again) and Alice's superb "No, you're just another !*$%" line. While we thought that dicing Isaacs into cubes meant the end, the good doctor has at least one more trick up his sleeve when Glen returns for The Final Chapter.
