Resident Evil 2 Remake: 9 Iconic Moments We Can't Wait To See

7. Showdown At Kendo's Gun Store

Resident Evil 2 Remake
Capcom

As anyone cornered by a horde of undead and absent of the knowledge that their city was about to be nuked to kingdom come would do, Robert Kendo took shelter behind the counter of his modest gun shop in an attempt to wait out the horror, and his plan would have worked, too, if it wasn't for a rookie police officer and a kid looking for her brother.

Creator and supplier of the S.T.A.R.S. issue 'Samurai Edge' that Wesker would come to grow fond of, poor Rob just wanted to go the extra mile and help any remaining survivors that happened upon his store, not get eaten because a rare human customer was blasé about making sure they weren't followed by a herd of starving undead.

With how unabashedly gory Resi 2's remake is shaping up to be, Capcom clearly isn't concerned with showing restraint. Rob's untimely death sets the tone for what's to come in Leon and Claire's quest to escape, so sorry Rob, but we're expecting close-ups of severed limbs and ruptured organs to accompany your demise.
