Resident Evil 2 Remake: 9 Tiny Details Fans Will Love

2. "We Do It!"

Resident Evil 2 Details
Capcom

We all remember Capcom's original confirmation that Resident Evil 2 was to receive the remake treatment, and not for the flattering early gameplay that accompanied it.

Rather, it was the game's producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi stripping off his hoody to reveal a t-shirt emblazoned with, let's say, the grammatically questionable slogan "We Do It!" that kept enthusiasm and hope alive in the four years of radio silence that would follow the initial announcement.

In a humorous reference to that event, Capcom opted to immortalize the phrase in-game as a sly little Easter egg for those meticulous enough to look for it. Etched into a commemorative bust that most would pass without notice are the legendary three words, repurposed to be the Raccoon City Police Department's motto.
