For a city that had only recently gone to hell, there weren't many to come across in Resident Evil: Nemesis back on the Playstation 1.

Now sure this can go to show just how fast the T-Virus had taken hold and destroyed all life in the surrounding area, but it would’ve been nice to see anyone left dealing with the outbreak.

For much of RE3 when Jill isn’t being chased by Nemesis, she is either teamed up with Carlos or dealing with Brad breaking down before her eyes. Really Brad just served as a cool easter egg for fans of the first two games, and Carlos? Well, he was a bit of a creep back in 1999.

Remake:

The remake breaths more life into Raccoon City from the very get-go. not only is the atmosphere incredible, but there are actually a few more humans to be found along Jill’s journey.

Brad is on the scene from the get-go and isn’t a snivelling waste of flesh, but sadly, he is killed off in a way that can’t live up to the Original. With that scene, Nemesis made a true statement. Both Marvin and Kendo show up for cameos here too, but that is all they really are. If you ever wondered how Marvin got bit, well Capcom have you covered.

It must also be said that Kendo in both RE2 and RE3 Remakes is phenomenal. Capcom took this minor character and made sure that players' time with him would leave a mark.

Carlos is the true triumph when it comes to Resident Evil 3 Remake and giving Tyrell more purpose didn’t hurt either.

Not only does he feel competent here and the voice actor is a thousand times better than before, but now he feels like a real human that doesn’t just want to flirt with Jill in the worst possible moments.
