24. Leon And The Merchant Have The Same Voice Actor
Taking up the role from the late, great Paul Haddad, Paul Mercier made the perfect Leon S. Kennedy for the tone that Resident Evil 4 was going for. A cocky quasi-badass who also fell into the odd cheesy one-liner here or there, for many people his performance makes RE4's Leon the first Leon they think of.
He later appeared as the character in The Darkside Chronicles as well as the CGI film Degeneration.
But Leon wasn't Mercier's only performance in the game and he's also the voice of our hero's most trusted ally. Yes, behind the strange cockney snarl of The Merchant is the same man as our protagonist. So not only did Mercier get to deliver all of Leon's dialogue, he also got to ask you what you were buyin'.
