Resident Evil 4: All Ports Ranked Worst To Best

With Resident Evil 4 becoming available on every mainstream console, it was no surprise when Microsoft made it playable on the Xbox 360. At first, it felt like Microsoft was a little late to the party since they made this move six years after the game's debut.

Knowing the original RE4 would look pretty dated on a next-gen console, the Xbox 360 ported the Wii version, which had added features, as well as HD resolution. It may have lacked the motion controls of the Nintendo system but this port made up for it with superior lighting.

Now, Resident Evil has always been a dark franchise (figuratively and literally), since the lack of light is crucial to highlight the gameplay's tense atmosphere. But with the extra brightness, you can see a lot of details you didn't notice in the original. (It also makes the zombies and El Gigantes look way scarier!)

It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel or anything but this port was definitely worth checking out, especially if gamers didn't get a chance to play Resident Evil 4 upon its initial release.
