When Resident Evil 4 was ported to the PC in 2007, it received disastrous reviews. Textures problems and bugs were so rampant, mods were created to fix such issues.

Fans had to wait until 2014 before Windows received the superior version - Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition. This incarnation fixed all the problems of its predecessor and gave the graphics a polish. In fact, this graphics of this RE4 were so sharp, it was ported to the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, rather than the original.

PC players were given more choice since they can flip from normal to high quality textures and change from 30 to 60 FPS. And, just to show off, the developers also inserted a Lock On system, making it easier than ever to blow zombies' heads off.

Even though the game works fine with console controllers, RE4 plays so well with a keyboard and mouse, you'd swear the first-person shooter was designed for the system.

PC owners had to wait way longer than they deserved to play a high-quality version of Resident Evil 4 but their patience paid off since they got one of the best ports the game has to offer.
