Medicinal herbs, first aid sprays, bullets and even the guns to load them into - all of these precious resources will return in Resident Evil 7, but instead of having them handed to you on a silver platter, you'll need to ransack every last crusty cupboard in order to even have a chance at finding any of them.

Giving the player ample opportunity to stock-up on such things while not making them too abundant is always a tough balancing act (even the iconic Spencer Mansion could feel like one big shopping mall if you knew where to look), but tipping the scales towards scarcity is far more preferable to not being able to take a step without being bombarded with supplies.

In an effort to truly emphasize the importance of such luxuries, you'll have to scrounge for individual bullets rather than a whole box of the stuff in 7. Remember, there's always a bigger fish, so don't go wasting that last shotgun shell on a run-of-the-mill monster you found shuffling about in the basement.
