Resident Evil 8: Every Confirmed & Leaked Detail You Need To Know

10. The Plot Will Look Into Eveline's Origin

Resident Evil 8
Capcom

E-001, codename Eveline (the one you called Aunt Rhody if you weren't paying attention), is Capcom's excuse to have a creepy little girl join the franchise. Designed as the ultimate bioweapon, Eveline was aged to look about ten years old so that she'd more easily be able to infiltrate places where her abilities of mind control could dominate and destroy any enemies before they even knew they were under attack.

Although we know about many of the events at the Baker household, there are still some questions that need answering. How did the company who made Eveline create her? What happened to the A through D series of bioweapons? How did Lucas get recruited when Eveline should have felt him leaving her network or seen through him as those who cured him approached?

With so many unanswered questions, it's no surprise that Capcom have apparently decided to follow those threads in the next Resident Evil. Eveline's origins will be explored in that game, and the links between this tale and the wider Resident Evil storyline will be built upon. Depending on your view of the wider Resident Evil universe and the 26 games within it, that could be a good thing or a bad thing.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
