Resident Evil 8 Village: 10 Fan Demands Capcom NEEDS To Include
9. Stealth Of Some Sort
There's a moment in Resident Evil 4 when Leon has first entered the village and sees the captured cops. The villagers haven't seen him yet and, if he's careful, he can explore the village a little before they notice him.
More recent games in the series have given protagonists the ability to both avoid and hide from some of the incredibly powerful creatures that are hunting them down. Even when not cowering in a closet and peeking out at the head of a household as he shrilly calls their names, characters have been able to take advantage of blind creatures by moving slowly and quietly.
Rather than filling every creature with various amounts of lead or running away from them, Ethan should be able to hide from the terrors of the night. Imagine him slipping through the back yards of the village, keeping to the shadows and the fog that he might watch the villagers going about their daily lives, peeking through windows to listen in on private moments that provide hints of what's to come.
Or perhaps he's simply steering clear of the pack of werewolves that seem to have infested the village.
