Resident Evil 8 Wishlist: 10 Things Fans Want To See

1. The Return Of Mercenaries

One of the best features from the most recent Resident Evil games was the Mercenaries mode. Even if Resident Evil is no longer using a third person view, the combat is strong enough that Mercenaries would be a fantastic addition.

Despite being nothing more than an mini-game, Mercenaries has a lot to offer that Resident Evil 8 should really capitalise on. Many of the things mentioned in this list can actually be positively affected by the Mercenaries mode, such as the length, for one.

Mercenaries could add hundreds of hours of playtime, and is easily one of the most fun moments in recent entries. True fans of Resident Evil will surely love the ability to play as any character and tackle an increasingly menacing zombie horde.

The mode is so enjoyable that it's seriously surprising that it hasn't been made into its own game yet, let alone appearing as a bonus mode in the next game.

Just make sure it isn't DLC.
