10. More Iconic And Varied Weapons

Although Resident Evil 7 isn't shy of weapons in its campaign, it could do with adding a few more series staples.

The focus on using simple weapons like handguns and shotguns made sense considering the smarter approach to horror and combat in Resident Evil 7, but the sequel should up the stakes by including even more.

One weapon that shockingly didn't make an appearance during the campaign was the rocket launcher. Despite appearing in almost every game in the series to date, the final boss instead featured a handgun named after Wesker. Although it isn't a bad weapon by any means, come on, this would've been the perfect time to use a rocket launcher instead.

Other weapons that should be included include different types of grenades, machine guns and - inspired by The Walking Dead - even a crossbow. At the very least, these different weapons would give combat much more variety, even if that isn't the focus of the series.
