Code Veronica is considered as one of the better Resident Evil spin-offs.

Not only did it bring back Claire Redfield after the events of Resident Evil 2, but it also embodied everything that made the early games great. But even this classic had its downside, and that was Steve Burnside.

The first Resident Evil games are known for their shoddy voice acting; however, Steve was on another level of bad. He was simply irritating to be around. Thankfully, players only had to spend a few short minutes playing as him, with the rest of our precious time being spent between the Redfield siblings.

Steve was given a new fashionable hairstyle in the game’s remaster. However, this was nowhere near enough of an improvement to make this character any more bearable.

At least players don't need to worry about him making a comeback in the future.
