When Resident Evil 7 is remembered it will be for the encounters with Jake Baker, but hands down Marguerite Baker is not only the most terrifying member of the Baker Family, but the most terrifying of the Resident Evil boss line up.
Not much is known about her before Eveline corrupted the household, but she was one of the only Bakers to figure out something was up. Doctors revealed in an X-Ray that mold was growing on her skull, but before she could do anything about it she succumbs to the control of Eveline.
How To Beat:
The name of the game is avoidance at all costs during early Marguerite encounters. Taking heavy influences from the likes of Amnesia and Outlast, Capcom makes it very clear that unlike Jack, nobody wants to be spotted by her at all.
She isn't afraid to get close and personal, but during the final confrontation in the greenhouse, she is known to scurry away only to pop up behind Ethan moments later. The best thing to do here is to stay on the top floor and keep moving, whilst targeting her insect sack for maximum damage.
Thankfully, after defeating Marguerite, all other insect enemies die along with her.
