Resident Evil: Ranking Every Major Protagonist Worst To Best
5. Ada Wong
Debuting in Resident Evil 2, Ada Wong was destined to become a fan favourite. The spy's relationship with Leon instantly distinguished the sequel's story from that of its predecessor, with Wong being one of the few overtly "cool" characters the franchise had seen at that point, only getting more outlandish with each appearance.
Having to guess whose side she was really on became one of her defining features, maintaining an aura of unpredictability every time she was on screen. Her popularity ensured that she eventually became playable as well, starting out in an unlockable mini-game for Resident Evil 4 (another title in which she totally stole the limelight).
However, she wasn't actually the lead of her own campaign until Resident Evil 6 - and even then it was a shorter, secret one that you only unlocked after beating the others. The wait was worth it, however, as her brief journey was the only one that didn't feature co-op.
