Resident Evil: Ranking Every Major Protagonist Worst To Best

9. Sheva Alomar

resident evil 5
Capcom

Sheva received so much underserved hate when Resident Evil 5 came out. A new character being introduced in this franchise is always going to be contentious, but a new character who's only seemingly being included because co-op was the design mandate was destined to be loathed.

Which is a shame, because it's only really her A.I. that's deserving of any real vitriol. Yeah, in gameplay she might be a pain to constantly babysit, but Sheva actually has one of the richest backstories of any modern Resi hero, being part of the West African division of the BSAA and part of the action in countries that Resi rarely ever ventures to.

She's not the greatest character, but it's disappointing Sheva hasn't shown up since her first outing.
