Rise Of The Tomb Raider: 10 Killer Features It Must Have

1. Dual Wield Pistols

This might seem a bit of a given choice considering the other choices seen on this list, but it is something that every player will be expecting in the sequel. This is because of the introduction of that particular weapon right at the end of the reboot which enabled her to take down Mathias at long last. The pistols have long been a trademark of the series with them being the very first weapons available to Lara in her first outing. Since then, Angelina Jolie has been seen with them on the poster of the first film and on the majority of the sequel covers. Of course the last game had a very specific method of firing the pistols in the single scene it was featured in €“ which had the player using both triggers on the controller. The issue with using that way of firing them throughout the sequel is that it would make shooting and moving at the same time very complicated. But it€™s an easy fix €“ simply switch the firing mode to the same as all the other weapons and have the game automatically switch between the left and right pistols. With the added light mechanics seen in the first game, it would make the simultaneous use of both pistols an interesting strategic choice for the player, much as in Tomb Raider where the player couldn€™t use the bow and the torch at the same time. Perhaps Rise could introduce an upgrade to somehow use a light source with the pistols later in the game to balance it all out. So what are your feelings about Rise of the Tomb Raider?
