Rise Of The Tomb Raider: 10 Killer Features It Must Have

10. The Bow

Thankfully this is one feature that looks set to return in the sequel as confirmed already by the teaser trailer. It was introduced predominantly in the reboot game and became one of the most satisfying weapons to use throughout the storyline. There was just something really wonderful about stringing it up and taking out a scumbag with a silent headshot across a canyon while the rest of his buddies had no idea at all. As with all the weapons you had to slightly suspend your disbelief about the upgrades that could potentially be made around a campfire (although the bow upgrades were more likely than most), but the developers realised that it would be quite popular, giving the players two unique tweaks to the weapon as part of the story. Showing the bow already says a little something about the expected gameplay of Rise of the Tomb Raider in that it€™ll be similar to the first game, using stealth as a key mechanic throughout. This was a major feature in the first game as Lara constantly went up against baddies in situations where she was massively outnumbered, and there were few scenarios where running forward and shooting everything that moved would easily end in a favourable outcome. So considering how well the stealth features was already developed for the first game, this is really something to get excited for.
