Rocksteady's Superman Wishlist: 10 Things We Want To See
4. A Big Cast Of Villains
With the same rumours from before pointing towards Braniac as the game's big bad, fans will no doubt be wondering who else Rocksteady could look to include in the title.
Braniac - though yet to be broached in a live-action format - is one of the character's most famous adversaries, and has just come off the back of a key role in NetherRealm's sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us. He makes sense to include in the game, especially if audiences have grown tired of Lex Luthor, but more difficult, perhaps, is the incorporation of side-villains into the actual narrative itself.
With Batman: Arkham, the presence of the character's greatest adversaries made sense within the context of City and Knight's settings, but with Braniac leading the charge this time around, as well as the fact he's not a team-player by any stretch of the imagination, finding genuine cause to include villains like Metallo, Bizarro and the rest might prove difficult.
Personally, this is where the leak begins to fall apart somewhat. Braniac makes sense to include as a main antagonist, but with the character having just wrapped up an appearance on Injustice, along with all the Lex Luthor references in Knight, one would speculate that it's actually the bald-headed baddie who's pulling the strings in Superman's solo game.
