3. It Shows Koch Media Is Committed To The Franchise
When Koch Media purchased the Saints Row franchise from the THQ auction, they could have easily just stuck it onto the backlog of games they intend on bringing out sometime in the future, just so rival publishers couldnt have it. But they havent; theyve put their faith in Volition and given them the resources to make Saints Row IV. This shows that they are committed to the franchise and want to turn it into one of their major IPs for the next few years. If the game is ready to go, isn't it best to just release it, rather than wait, especially with the next gen around the corner? If Koch Media don't release it this year, it won't be good enough to launch on next gen systems, so it would have to be redeveloped, and we all know what happens when a game goes through a development cycle like that.
