The Saints Row franchise is one of the best in gaming at the moment. After starting off like just another GTA open world clone, Saints Row 2 lived up to the genre€™s €˜sand-box€™ nickname, as it just let you play. There was no need to worry too much about story or morals. Even the €˜serious€™ moments where major characters died were cancelled out by the fact you could bring them back as zombies. Saints Row: The Third took that idea even further, letting you know straight away that it was a video game rather than some ultra-gritty, realistic interactive movie that was to be taken seriously. The whole point of the Saints Row franchise is to have fun, and that€™s why gamers love it. If you want a more €˜grown-up€™ open world game, that€™s what GTA is for. Saints Row is simply an interactive playground where you can do whatever you like. And from the look of Saints Row IV, you pretty much can do whatever you like. Who cares if the graphics haven€™t changed? Who cares if the game engine is the same? Fans wanted Saints Row 3 plus 1. What's 3 + 1? Saints Row IV. Like this article?
