Sekiro 2: 10 Major Changes We Need To See

2. Refining Mechanics & Glitches

Sekiro Shadows Die Twice intro

Okay, one word: Platforming.

Whilst most of the time you get to feel like a badass, somersaulting and leaping around dispatching your foes, there are a few (more than a few) moments where you're left trying and failing to frantically grab a ledge like a marionette having a breakdown.

In this day and age, post-Assassin's Creed parkour, it feels unforgivable.

Just let us grab a ledge or mantle automatically!

Jumping from ledge to ledge or to a tree branch isn't perfect either, sometimes resulting in a fatal fall.

And, much like the Soulsborne games, the camera once again struggles in confined spaces. Battles often treat players to a close up of Wolf's back, meaning there are plenty of obstacles to get stuck on at the worst times.

And just to add to that previous point, there were some rooftops that would've made sense to surmount, and yet we weren't allowed to climb.
