Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - 7 New Gameplay Details You Need To Know
5. There's No Armour Customisation
Although FromSoftware are making huge strides in the amount of freedom players will have over their character in the upcoming game, they're unfortunately taking a bit of a step back when it comes to character customisation. Specifically, you won't be able to tinker with your armour while playing - at all - so that everyone is playing with ostensibly the same build.
Yep, that sadly means no more fashion Souls. In fact, no levelling up at all, to keep the difficulty perfectly balanced through.
Though it's a bit of a shame, it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. Dark Souls had an exhaustive amount of customisation, but Bloodborne had comparatively little, with only a handful of different outfits that didn't differ all that much from a stat perspective. In that game you could stick with your starting armour all the way through and still have a great time, so there's no reason to imagine Sekiro being any different.
