Silent Hill: Every Playable Character Ranked Worst To Best

When it comes to calling out which Silent Hill games are the worst, there is often a lot of debate between Origins and Downpour. While the quality of the games themselves is arguable, the edge for the better protagonist just about slides in favour of Travis.

Travis was a lonely truck driver with a dark past who managed to stumble upon Silent Hill from seemingly pure chance, with nothing specific calling him towards it. This acted as a really interesting idea about the town's pull towards those with traumatic backstories.

Travis's life before the events of the game are very interesting and give him a concise reason to be compelled to travel to Silent Hill, whilst also leaving his past open to interpretation. However, the origins aspect of the title meant the focus was on setting up Alessa and the original game, causing Travis to fall a little to the wayside.

His slightly unimportant status wasn't helped by the fact that he's not the most complicated character. While he has moments of heroism, he still felt rather bland.
