Skyrim: 16 Best Mods Of All Time

14. Shout - Call Of Madness

One of the most memorable daedric side-quests is Mind of Madness, featuring star of Oblivion's Shivering Isles DLC, Sheogorath.

In it, you search through the disembodied mind of former Emperor Pelagius, curing his fears with the Wabbajack after which you are rewarded with the aforementioned staff. This particular mod adds a new shout for you to pick up, aptly named the Call of Madness, the word wall for which sits just behind our favourite daedric prince.

As with all shouts in the game it features three words of power, each with very different outcomes. The first word is simply the Wabbajack effect: totally random as to what will actually happen. So you might cause fire damage, you might turn your victim into a mudcrab or even a sweetroll, or you could get really unlucky and heal your foe.

The second word of power summons Sheogorath to fight on your behalf with the Wabbajack. So if one lunatic with an insanity complex wasn't enough for Skyrim to handle, you could bring in another one!

With the final word, your Dragonborn screams to the heavens "cheese for everyone" and brings about the apocalypse via a storm of exploding cheese wheels. An epic and hugely funny foil for Alduin.

Runners Up:

Cheesify Shout - A potentially game-breaking mod that turns its victims into piles of cheese.

Fus Ro Door! - Use you Unrelenting Force shout to blast open locked doors.

Concentrative Fire and Frost Breath - Turns your fire and frost shouts into the dragon-style attacks, rather than the balls of flame and ice in vanilla.
