Skyrim Remastered: 10 Crucial Things Fans Need To See

8. All DLC Included

Skyrim Remastered
Bethesda

It may seem like a given, but it's worth repeating just in case Bethesda get any funny ideas like publishers these days seem to disposed towards. Skyrim needs to come packed with all three of its DLC packs otherwise it's dead on arrival.

Not that all of Skyrim's DLC is exactly brilliant. Dawnguard is a solid if short new questline, the best part of which is the option to become a vampire. Hearthstone is a, errr, hearth-hearted DLC that lets you buy a plot of land and build your own house (with frustrating limitations). Dragonborn is the absolute must-have of the bunch. It's not quite Oblivion's Shivering Isles, but nonetheless a fascinating place with cultural and geographical echoes of Morrowind. It'd be awesome to explore the area given the remastered treatment.

This is the Bethesda dev studio's first stab at a remaster so we can't be sure, but they generally show good form with DLC, and word on the grapevine suggests that Skyrim Remastered will be the full DLC-packed package.
