Skyrim Remastered: 10 Crucial Things Fans Need To See

7. Access To Mods

Skyrim Remastered
Bethesda/Nebior

It seems fitting that this rumour has leaked a mere week after Bethesda successfully gave Xbox One gamers some love and made mods accessible for the console. It was a landmark step not just for Bethesda, but for the industry as a whole, and a promising sign that console gamers may at least get to live a bit of the modding good life that's been available on PC for so long.

One of the few rumours that's been accompanying talk of the Skyrim remaster is indeed that it will have mod support, in a similar vein to Fallout 4. This would not only entail new weapons, gameplay tweaks, and even new races to play as, but hopefully we'd also see some of the incredible quest mods that players have spent years crafting make it into the remastered modding library.

Check out quest mods like Moonpath to Elsweyr, Helgen Reborn and Falskaar to get a little taste of the huge amount of creativity and new adventures that could await console gamers in the remaster. Also, pictured, in case you're wondering, is the Staff of Sweet Rolls mod, which lets you turn everything into sweet rolls... obviously.
