Spider-Man: Miles Morales – 10 Things Critics Are Saying

1. What About Spider-Man: Remastered?

On the PS5, there will be two versions of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, with the "Ultimate Edition" set to come bundled with Spider-Man: Remastered. There's no mention of that in any of the reviews, so it clearly hasn't been made available...or the embargo just hasn't lifted yet.

Usually, that would be cause for concern, but it makes sense for Insomniac to want to keep the focus on the core game for now (especially with so much backlash surrounding the decision to overhaul Peter Parker's appearance). The upgrades made to the game are expected to bring it in line with Spider-Man: Miles Morales, though the gameplay is set to remain unchanged.

As for Peter's new look - which will also be seen in the PS5 launch title - Inverse seems to be a fan, saying: "[The] redesign that makes him look more like Tom Holland and less like a Muppet, graphics looked far improved over the first game, even if the load times felt a bit too long at times."

Perhaps it won't as bad as everyone has suspected?
