Spider-Man: Miles Morales - 20 Secrets, Easter Eggs & References Explained
5. United... Ireland?
Here's a bit of an unusual one. If you are swinging around Manhatten, it may be worth taking a visit to the UN building where you'll find many flags flying outside it.
Look carefully though and you will notice that the flag for Ireland doesn't look quite right. You won't find the usual tricolour flag, but instead you'll see a green flag with a harp. The harp may be on backwards, but it does strike a resemblance to the Irish flag from the 17th Century, when it was known as the Confederacy of Ireland.
This was before the country became a part of the United Kingdom in 1801. There was a similar Easter Egg in the end-credits scene of Black Panther, where the Welsh flag flies as an independent state.
