Spider-Man PS4: 10 Marvel Games Insomniac Should Make Next
1. Iron Man
Insomniac's Spider-Man is more tech-savvy than we might have expected; he's got a range of gadgets at his finger-tips that give him all sorts of tricks in combat. Who's more famed for technical wizardry than Iron Man? He's got a ready-made armoury full of unique combat suits built for nearly every possible engagement, and gaining experience would effectively be R&D, with experience points unlocking new tech to soup up your suits with new abilities.
Tony Stark is an excellent contender for a Marvel hero lead: he's not the most powerful, but strong enough that playing him would be immensely satisfying. Moreover, with Insomniac absolutely nailing the feeling of web-slinging around New York, I can only imagine that they would work similar magic with the propulsion system of Stark's suit. Zipping in and around the skyscraper-dominated landscape would be immense, especially during bouts with similarly tech-fuelled foes.
Iron Man has a strong collections of rogues that he could contend with; any number of the mech-wielding menaces he's fought in the past would make for truly destructive battles. It's also about damn time that The Mandarin got the proper treatment in Marvel media; none of this bait and switch Trevor Slattery nonsense.
