Spider-Man PS4: 10 Marvel Games Insomniac Should Make Next

Black Widow is a character who's not received too much media attention, despite the cries for a standalone movie for ages, so it does feel like it's up to Insomniac to take the reigns and bring us the kind of classic spy action that we want so see so badly.

A Black Widow game would be best sticking to her core nature; namely, as a former Russian spy. Instead of swinging through the New York skyline, Natasha Romanoff's adventures would be more in line with the later Splinter Cell titles. We'd be crossing the globe on stealth missions to invade supervillians' bases, making use of her range of high tech weapons and knowledge of multiple martial arts to disable or otherwise fight our way back out with newfound stolen secrets.

In a solo title, boss fights would have to see us take on similar hand-to-hand foes such as Electra, former comrades (such as Black Widows Yelena or Sofia) or the top assassins of Marvel's criminal underworld like Bullseye, sent to disrupt her missions by killing her on behalf of the real big bads. New stealth games are hard to come by, so playing as Black Widow would be even more unique an experience.
