Spider-Man PS4: 10 Villains Insomniac Must Include
8. Kraven The Hunter

Kraven the Hunter is one of the all time great Spider-Man villains, so it's something of a surprise that he hasn't been discussed in the run up to the game's September release.
Though it's obvious that Insomniac will be saving certain characters for an inevitable sequel, it would be great to see Kraven, who's yet to really make a big impression outside of the comics. There was of course his appearances in the nineties Spider-Man cartoon, but other than a few further glimpses in and out of the gaming medium, Kraven's yet to really receive the attention befitting of his stature in the source-material - something Insomniac should really look to change with their new title.
Obviously they can't dive straight into Kraven's Last Hunt, but a mission that lifts the tone from that kind of Spidey story would make for a welcome change of pace in a game that is yet to show NYC by night, or depict the darker inflections of the character's mythos. Stories like the Last Hunt and the Death of Jean DeWolff, then, could both inspire a change in atmosphere for the title.
Y'know, unless they really are saving him for the sequel...
