Spider-Man PS4: 7 Combat Tips To Help You Dominate Each Encounter
4. Web Strike Takedowns Don't Break Stealth, And They're An Instant KO
There are a ton of Arkham-esque stealth sections in Spider-Man, where you're tasked with clearing out a fixed area of enemies as sneakily as possible.
And sure, you can use all sorts of moves in these situations like Perch Takedowns and Stealth Takedowns, but by far, the easiest - and quickest - way to complete stealth encounters is with Web Strike Takedowns.
This move is mapped to the triangle button, and will have Spidey using his webs to zip to an enemy for an instant KO. This attack seems quite aggressive and loud so you'd be forgiven for thinking that it breaks stealth, but it actually doesn't (as long as your target enemy isn't too close to another one, of course), meaning you can spam it as much as you like.
It's also super easy to use. Aim, tap triangle, done. You can use it from perches and from the ground, and you don't even have to be behind an enemy to pull it off, like you do with Stealth Takedowns.
Isolating foes and taking them down with Web Strike is not only easy, but it can shave valuable time off each stealth encounter. This makes acing those Taskmaster challenges less difficult, and it's also good for those who aren't fans of stealth and just want to get through it as quickly as possible.
