One of the few missions to have been disclosed by Insomniac revolves around the Shocker robbing a bank and, keeping in with the theme of making their universe feel noticeably different to that of all the others, he looks rather different.
Sporting an armoured look complete with golden eyes, Shocker (who most recently appeared in last year's Spider-Man: Homecoming) is one of the most high-profile villains to have been unveiled for the upcoming Spidey game. He's been a constant presence in most other Spider-Man titles as well, featuring primarily as an introductory foe before the other - some would say interesting - Spidey characters show up.
To Insomniac's credit, their version of Herman certainly looks cool. If nothing else, he'll at least make for a great side-character.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
