Spider-Man PS4: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

Mary Jane is more interesting in this game than she has been in any of her movie appearances due to her job as an investigative journalist. She often finds herself in threatening situations, and doesn't rely on Spider-Man or Peter Parker in any aspect of her life.

She has her own missions in the game that, although sometimes breaking the momentum being built by Spider-Man's missions, show her character in a great light, and portray Insomniac's MJ as capable and courageous. The slow nature of her missions, specifically when she is inside Norman Osborn's penthouse, offer some great moments to build character too.

Not only that, but the relationship between her and Peter feels incredibly well formed and real. They have a past that is awkward for Peter to bring up, they clearly still have feelings for each other, and they even share uncomfortable text messages that feel instantly relatable and adorable.
