2. Spider-Man: The End Of The Green Goblin
Another tale adapted straight from the comics to the Sam Raimi films, 'The End of the Green Goblin' is the name given to the initial climax of Spider-Man's long running feud with his arch enemy, Norman Osborn.
Not only does it drop the bombshell that the mischievous Osborn is aware of Peter's true identity, it features the Goblin revealing his secret-identity to the wall-crawler as well. What follows is as classic as classic Marvel gets, but its concept is perfect for any game seeking to depict the two characters' long-chronicled rivalry.
The announcement trailer already showed that Osborn, once the CEO of Oscorp, is now also running for mayor. It's a Lex Luthorian twist that only makes perfect sense for the PR savvy father to attempt, and depending on whether or not the Goblin has made appearances prior, could add much needed backstory to a new universe attempting to differentiate itself from other interpretations gone by.
