Star Wars: 10 Games We Want To See From EA

8. 1313

A third person action game set in the lower levels of Coruscant, Star Wars 1313 was the biggest casualty of the Lucasarts shutdown. And it's a real shame since it was looking pretty good and Lucasfilm clearly thought it was going to be a big hit, featuring its previously unseen setting in the last few episodes of The Clone Wars TV series as a minor way of setting it up as a location. Wanting to see this made is a really a case of "There's a Star Wars game that has potential but will never see the light of day? Well that's stupid". Since it's a whole new story, there's very little that can be said for it since we don't really have a precedent for it but Star Wars action games very rarely falter and this one seems like it's going have to some innovative gameplay as well as a fresh new setting and characters. I suppose it's mainly curiosity that makes me want to see this hit the shelves but also faith that Lucasarts were on the right lines with it. Of course, it could turn out to be awful but there's no real way to tell without it being made.
