Star Wars Battlefront: 10 Crippling Issues That Must Be Fixed

9. Bonuses For Winning/Losing Streaks

Something that essentially comes with the territory in first-person shooters these days are streak bonuses, either for winning or losing a significant number of times in a row. With the sheer size of Battlefront's skirmishes (20 v 20 if your game is full) it's going to make that a bit tricky, but as it stands there's really no incentive to give your all to the fight. There are no bonus abilities locked away behind achieving a handful of kills in a row, and the only thing you'll get as a reward for your troubles are XP bonuses - which are useless until you finish a round and can allocate your points anyway. For those of us who end up getting ventilated as soon as we spawn over and over, we too should have a perk that gives us more of a fighting chance. There are already personal shields you can pick up that'll deflect many types of laser fire, but have these spawn on characters who have just bitten the dust multiple times in a row - or more powerful bonuses triggered by multiple team members dying in a short space of time. At the end of the day we're talking about a game that's balanced at its core, and when spawn-campers can hide out and rack up the kills, there needs to be a way to reverse the odds immediately.
