Star Wars Battlefront: 10 Crucial Tips & Tricks You Need To Know

1. Switch Up Your Perspective

A probable afterthought to newcomers to the Battlefront franchise, third-person gameplay was always on the list of 'musts' DICE's reboot had to retain from the games of old, no matter its bearing on the quality of the overall product. The choice between third and first-person gameplay is always going to be a personal preference to different players. I myself personally prefer playing the reboot in the first person, whereas in the original Pandemic games I was a stalwart proponent of taking things easy from over the shoulder. This isn't to say that the preferred view of old is useless in the reboot though, in fact it's quite the contrary. Switching between third and first-person gameplay helps lend the player different perspectives on the way in which a match may be playing out. Though not offering a completely different field of vision by switching to over the shoulder, players are able to navigate tight spaces and corners more effectively, now being able to see the danger that lurks around them. It may not be ideal for gunplay overall (or it might be, personally I struggle with it in the online arena), but using the two views regularly not only helps players appreciate their character more, but to be mindful of their surroundings as well.
