Star Wars Battlefront: 11 Reasons It's A Big Disappointment

1. Stormtroopers Don't Have To Wear Their Helmets...

OK, time for a nerdy rant to close things out. As any card-carrying Star Wars fan knows, the Stormtroopers never remove their helmets in the original trilogy, helping to cement them as an overwhelming, intimidating, faceless force. Battlefront decides to completely defy this, then, by allowing players to play as a Stormtrooper without a helmet. Even ignoring the fact that the helmet is to help protect the soldiers in combat, it goes completely against Star Wars lore to let players do this, and honestly it's pretty surprising that George Lucas and co. weren't more insistent that this option be nixed from the game. Like the dodgy voice acting, it sticks out like a sore thumb, a peculiar affectation that feels massively at odds with the ridiculous eye for detail in so many other areas of the game. What do you think of Battlefront so far? Loving it? Bored already? Shout it out in the comments!
