Star Wars Battlefront 2: 10 Biggest Fan Demands EA Must Listen To

7. Prequel Content

Ever since Disney acquired the Star Wars brand, it feels more and more like they are intentionally distancing themselves from the less enthusiastically accepted prequel trilogy. This is made no more apparent than in Battlefront, which ignores and has absolutely no connections to the prequels whatsoever. Whatever you may think of them, the fact is that the Episodes I-III contain half of the conflict that makes up the series so far. Not including the prequels in Battlefront means that the game is missing half of its potential content. It's as simple as stating that if the game did encompass all six films, there would be more maps, more characters, and more battles. Yes, a large portion of the fanbase dislikes them, but most fans don€™t hate them enough that they'd refuse to buy the game. Frankly, the prequels had some amazing battle sequences, and it would be pretty exciting to see those given the same scope and attention to detail as the battles of Endor or Hoth are in the current Battlefront. Besides, if EA wants to keep this series going and milk the Star Wars franchise as long as possible, it€™s only logical for them to eventually step into the prequel universe. So for practical purposes, the next Battlefront should include these events in full.
