Star Wars Battlefront 2: 10 Biggest Fan Demands EA Must Listen To

2. Story Mode/A Single Player Campaign

Future Battlefronts really need a story mode, mostly because not having one is such a missed opportunity. The Star Wars franchise is big enough to tell a really compelling story in a video game, especially one as massive in scope as Battlefront. For instance, DICE could tell a more personal and grounded story of a common soldier during the rebellion, as Battlefront II did this for the Clone Wars, and it was pretty solid. Also, the environments of Battlefront are so gorgeous that sometimes you just want to stop and soak them in, but there is never time with the constant chaos going on around you. A story mode would allow players to more properly explore the Star Wars universe in all its visual glory within the framework of an interesting narrative. This is the reason so many are clamouring for a single player campaign in the series; people really love Star Wars for the stories and characters. The current Battlefront doesn€™t have either; it doesn€™t have any narrative stakes to support its gameplay, and it feels empty as a result.
