4. More Ship Classes/Skins
At present, Factions only have three classes (except for the Resistance and First Order who have two) and aside from the Hero ships, there are no reinforcement types. Starfighter Assault lacks the options that Galactic Assault has and EA should be looking to new ships to add to their arsenal.
Return of the Jedi gave us the B-Wings. Rogue One gave us the U-Wings and the new TIE Strikers. Star Wars Rebels brought the legendary TIE Defender back into the canon and The Clone Wars brought us two different evolutions of the ARC-170, including the T-9 Torrent and the Z-95 Starfighter. That’s’ before we look at the CIS.
These new ships could be added in as additional class types, as reinforcements, or even just alternate skins. For example, if you wanted to play as the Assault class, you could choose between the standard TIE Fighter or the new TIE Defender. The star cards would remain the same, just the appearance changes.
Just like with the alternate skins for Heroes, it adds more customisation to the gameplay.
