Star Wars Battlefront 2: 8 Things It Must Learn From Battlefield 1
7. Densely Populated Maps, Rather Than Wide-Open Spaces
While the Battlefield series has always focused on huge maps that feature expansive outdoor sections as well as tight interior combat areas, the original Battlefront was much more open and sparser when it came to its level design.
Consequently it often felt like you could be shot from any angle in the original game, leaving little room for tactical play or dedicated areas that you and a team could hold down.
Instead you essentially had to just run from one side of the map to the other through a wide-open space, in the hopes of taking down a couple of other players before you were inevitably shot in the back.
A more densely populated map with both interiors and exteriors would go a long way in not only adding more variety to the levels themselves, but increasing the tactical options of players massively.
