Star Wars Battlefront 2: 8 Things It Must Learn From Battlefield 1
3. A Consistent Stream Of DLC
Although Battlefield 1 is an amazing game, it hasn't been able to keep fans involved in its multiplayer as much as previous titles because of its slow drip feed of DLC.
Being out for almost a year at the time of writing, the game has only received two expansion packs so far. While that might be enough to tide some players over, the lack of content already present in the base game has meant that a lot of players have jumped ship because new content isn't being added fast enough.
Consequently, Battlefront 2 could suffer the same fate if it doesn't release its post-release content in a timely manner.
EA haven't detailed what fans should expect from the game's DLC, but because it's going to be free it probably won't be as expansive as what the studio has previously released.
Fortunately, the original game featured a massive drop off in players in the months following its release, and it's unlikely that EA is going to want to repeat the same mistake twice.
