7. Multiplayer Feels Incredibly Unbalanced

Again, on a fundamental level, if you're playing a game where players are going to be fighting one another - i.e. there's a competitive element - you cannot, I repeat cannot have a system where progression is routed to blind boxes.

Removing the microtransaction model and reducing prices doesn't get around the fact that 1. Many players already bought their way to the top before these were removed, and 2. Every time you're taken out, the game shows you which mods the enemy killed you with.

It's supposed to incentivise getting lost in the loot system, but said system is literally just pulling a slot machine lever - there's no way to spec towards an individual card outside of obtaining enough crafting components to buy one. And of course, crafting components are themselves doled out randomly.

Your best bet is to focus on "Kill 50 enemy"-style goals to unlock better weapons, but again, when you have a multiplayer that at its core, features players fighting with a completely scattershot set of mods and add-ons, the takeaway feeling is one big crapshoot.
