Star Wars Battlefront 2 Controversy: 9 Things You Need To Know

2. No Roadmap For The Game's Future

As Rocksteady found out back when Arkham Knight's season pass launched with a "Yup, just trust us... things are coming!" mentality (before a groundswell of fan response forced their hand), trying to ask for fan/consumer investment in your product with a notable lack of detail can go south, fast.

Now, there's a huge, some would say never-ending pool of goodwill for Star Wars, but even now the Han Solo season is detailed, fans don't know what's coming next.

The nearest thing to Solo content or new planets/levels is DICE's "Community Transmission" saying more "Han Solo Season content" will release in June "including details of a brand new world". It's arguably, depending on hours invested, time spent and your interactions over time with the wider Battlefront community, just not enough.

EA's "get out" card is that a season pass's worth of content was never required or detailed - though that doesn't help with the general lack of information surrounding the future of the game overall.
